Instructions
We want you to receive the best orthodontic results possible. That’s why it is important to follow the instructions that have been provided. If you have traditional braces, Invisalign®, a palate expander, or another appliance, following the instructions will improve your treatment and enhance your result. Certain dietary and hygiene habits need to be maintained to help your orthodontic appliances to stay clean, healthy, and functioning optimally.
If you have braces, you need to continue to brush and floss, but you also need to follow the right diet and care guidelines. Invisalign aligners require less care than traditional braces, but you will still need to follow specific instructions. Each orthodontic appliance requires its own care and maintenance to ensure they stay in ideal condition. Please review all instructions specific to your treatment. Make sure you understand how to care for yourself and your appliances. If you have any questions about your care, please contact our office. We’re here to help and happy to answer any questions that may come up.
