Originally from Oklahoma City, Dr. Mark Youngker lived in many places around the nation and the world throughout his childhood due to his father being in the military. This provided him with unique and valuable experiences as he moved to places such as Iran and Japan, picking up different languages and hobbies. He settled back Oklahoma City for good when he was in the 9th grade. He was inspired to go into the field of orthodontics as an undergraduate and during dental school when he worked for local orthodontists.

Dr. Youngker is passionate about his patients. He strives to provide the best quality care at an affordable cost to many families. Dr. Youngker feels privileged to be able to transform smiles that change the way patients perceive themselves, restore confidence, and improve their lives.

Education & Community Involvement

Dr. Youngker pursued his interest in animals, outdoors, and wildlife as a zoology major at the University of Oklahoma. He went on to pursue his orthodontic career at the university, graduating from their dental program in 1983 and receiving a Master of Science in Orthodontics in 1985.

Dr. Youngker is professionally affiliated with local and national organizations, including the American Association of Orthodontists, the Southwestern Society of Orthodontists, and the Oklahoma Orthodontic Society.

Personal Life & Interests

Dr. Youngker enjoys seeing the natural wonders of the world through travel. He seeks out adventure and is always willing to try new experiences. At home, Dr. Youngker enjoys spending time with friends and family, working out, and working with his registered Limousin cattle at his ranch.

The American Association of Orthodontists recommends that the initial orthodontic evaluation should occur at the first sign of child orthodontic problems or no later than age 7. This often helps prevent the need for invasive treatment.
